This morning as I sat in the bus going to work, there was a slight haze. Oh no, not again!. Luckily the haze cleared up by mid morning. The rest of day at work was spent in a review sesssion. Yawn - I just could not wait for the moment when I could start running. The opportunity came at 6.00 pm at KLCC park. It was cloudy and windy at the park. I saw Yong and Gan but the other KLCC regulars were missing. Never mind I want to run anyway.
I joined Yong on his 3rd lap and we ran together at a brisk pace. I forgot to start the lap timer but I think we were running aboout 7 min per lap (1.3 km). Andrea, the German guy also ran but his pace was too fast so he had to run alone. The occasional strong breeze cooled us down - it was fantasticl to run in such conditions. Yong stopped after his 5th lap while I continued on my 3rd lap. At the start of my third lap, my right knee started to become sore. I had better be cautious and decided to stop after the 3rd lap.
Distance = 3 laps (3.9 km)
Time = About 21 minutes
Feeling = Knee slightly sore after at 3rd lap but soreness gone when I stop running. Injury improving. Felt strong throughout the 3 laps. I guess the treadmills run last week at 11km/hr has improved my speed.
CD I am currently listening to : A Drop of Water by Keiko Matsui.
Book I am currently reading : Red Stat over Malaya (history).
