Monday Frustation

Last Saturday, I took a day off to rest from running. On Sunday I planned to run but it rained heavily.

Today I was raring to run at KLCC park. The skies were a bit cloudy, maybe it won't rain and I hoped the temperature would become cooler.

I started running at about 5.50 pm and 400 m later, Steven joined me. He was breathing hard so I guess he saw me from behind and ran fast to catch up. We finished one lap and light rain started to fall. Second lap, the rain became became a downpour. I told Steven that I would be stopping because of the rain. I felt a little bad leaving him,m as he had earlier run hard to catch up with me.

I went straight to the gym for a run on a treadmill. I decided to try it without listening to the MP3 player. I had been playing the same music on the MP2 player since last year. I was getting bored listening to the same stuff.

I thought I could last for 8 km without listening to music. Big mistake!. After 25 minutes (4 km), I was bored and could not continue. I quit.

At 6.45 pm when I left the gym and walking towards the LRT station, I saw sunlight streaming through the KLCC roof. The rain had stopped and the weather looked perfect for a running. %^%$#* Frustation - for the lost "time" onm the treadmill when I could have been running outdoors.

Hopefully I can run outdoors tomorrow.

I need to load new tracks on the MP3 player. Maybe Latin Jazz or Bossa Nova .
