Week No.2 July 2005 - Training Update

Folks, whenever you see the title Training Update in the Title it means I haven't got much to write about running/training. Be warned if you still want to continue to read past this period.

Anyway, after last Sunday's Seremban , my right knee was very sore for about 2 hrs. Strangely enough, it was OK after that. It was still slightly sore on Monday with some instability on the knee joint.

On Tuesday I decided to run and see how it goes. It was not good idea at all. After just 400 m, my right knee started to feel unstable and sore. I had to stop running after 800 m. Fron then on, I walked another 500 m to the 0 meter mark. I totally lost the mood to exercise. Walked back to the gym, pack up and went home.

Wednesday - back to KLCC park for a run. Ran with Kenneth. Knee started to become sore after 600 m but I pushed on until I completed 3 rounds and half (4.6 km). Decided to stop near the Bench (600 m mark) to avoid further damage. Better than Tuesday but I have not recovered to a point where I can run.

Thursday -Did not run.

Friday (today)- tempted to run at KLCC park again. Not sure to go or not but I will probably end up doing it this evening.

Is there a class or therapy for this kind of exercise/running addiction like those for available for alcoholics or drug addicts?
