I started running quite late at KLCC today. Only managed to reach the park at 6.50 pm. I ran the first 2 km alone. The regulars like Yan and the botak(bald) chinese guy (dun know his name) had finished their runs.
Luckily Newton and Cheong was still running so I joined them at 2.0 km. If not for them. I would have only run 4 km. After Newton stopped, Cheong and myself continue running in the semi-dark conditions. We chatted a lot while we were running. Later he stopped but I kept going. After 2 more laps, I checked my watch and it showed 7.50 pm. It was getting late - it was time to stop as I had completed 8 km.
Running at night is definitely more refreshing due to the cooler temperature and the atmosphere is quite different. I may do more night runs in the future.
Bought a music CD today at Tower Records; Sky kisses Earth by Prem Joshua. I am listening to it now- it's quite good as the music has an interesting blend of Indian and Western instruments.
This CD can be found in the New Age section. There are lots of New Age /Ambience CDs around but most the music are quite bland. You really have to choose artist and CD carefully.
I am still looking for Acid Jazz compilation CD but so far haven't found it at the Towers Record at KLCC. May have to drop by at the larger Tower Record store at KL Plaza this weekend.
