I will be going to Abu Dhabi In United Arab Emirates for 5 days. The UAE is one of the wealthiest countries in the world with the 16th highest GDP per capita in the world (USD 35,516 in 2007). There are lots of shopping complexes selling the usual western branded goods. But as I am not much of a shopper, the numerous shopping complexes are of no particular interest to me.
Today, after 10 months I bid goodbye to my faithful Saucony ProTriump4 shoes. The fabric and padding inside of the heel of the left shoe has worn and was ripped out. I had a badly chafed heel on Thursday from the exposed plastic rubbing against the skin. I have bought an ASICS Gel Cumulus 9 which will become my regular training shoes.
